On the slopes and heights of Courchevel, just a few snowflakes from the altiport, the Hotel Annapurna***** has been the resort's highest hotel since it was founded fifty years ago. Hence its name, a reference to the legendary Himalayan peak climbed by mountaineers Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal, friends of the Pinturault family. The name Annapurna also has the merit of beginning with the letter ‘A’. A very useful feature when looking for a hotel in the telephone directory in 1974... The hotel embodies the values held dear by the family: a love of sport, the art of refined hospitality and a taste for excellence.
Year after year, Hotel Annapurna pursues its commitment to excellence while integrating eco-responsible practices. Under the direction of Sandra Pinturault, the hotel uses sustainable materials and environmentally-friendly initiatives to ensure harmonious and responsible development. This commitment is testament to the family's desire to protect the mountain and offer guests an authentic, sustainable experience.
The Hotel Annapurna is also a gourmet destination in its own right, with the creation by Sandra of a three-act restaurant offering inviting guests, as well as visitors who are not hotel residents, to climb up to the Hotel Annapurna and discover a cuisine based on short circuits, sustainability and the quality of local produce, under the direction of chef Jean-Rémi Caillon. From winter 2023 onwards, three different atmospheres and restaurant concepts will open in the extension to the bar: Alpage, La Table de l'Annapurna and La Fèrma.
